Email Issues

Tayside Pension Fund are currently experiencing issues affecting our external emails.

 
Dundee City Council have identified that this is a cyber-related disruption involving a third party, similar to recent incidents which have affected a number of public sector bodies around the country. This is what is known as a Distributed Denial-of-Service or DDoS incident, which in essence is an attempt to disrupt our online services by overwhelming them with a flood of internet traffic.

 
At present there is no indication of compromise to internal Council systems, user accounts or core infrastructure.
